Hugs Pam, so sorry for your loss.  Sounds like he had a peaceful death, one we all hope for!  The only time our family gets together is at funerals or weddings...mostly funerals, we are all getting long in the tooth!  Hope you are doing ok and finally had that cry!

Have had a busy summer, working like a dog!  2 cortisone shots and massive physio with a sports clinic that works with the Toronto Blue Jays, Buffalo Bills and Sabers!  So lucky they fit me in!  Not much pain and way so much more range of movement!  Hugs and love to all my friends here!  Hang in everyone! XOXO

So sorry to hear how badly you have been feeling! Nothing is worse than not being able to eat or enjoy your food!  Glad to hear that your Drs were on top of things and you have survived it all!  I think the thing that helped you get through all this was Dez and her wonderful Jewish penicillin Smiley  God bless  you both!

I just saw on the news that Liberia closed all but 3 borders to contain the Ebola epidemic.  Why didn't they close them all?  That's what I would have done on this game!  Ebola could turn from an epidemic to a Pandemic with those open borders.

You always have to have a dream to strive for Fuzzy!  Our Toronto trip is my dream and lots of thinking and planning is the fun!  I have been having intense pain in my shoulder since I went back to work.  3 months now, and I have limited movement of my right arm now.  Surgeon appt at the end of the month, this trip is taking my mind off the pain!  The polar vortex killed all my fish as I went to radiation this winter, but my friends gave back beautiful fish that came from mine....now I think we have some brand new baby fish in the pond!   Small things like this make life good Grin

Crows are amazing!  So smart and a very communal bird!  They actually have funerals for members of their flock that have died!  A few years ago, I noticed a huge amount of crows gathering and flying over my neighbourhood.  Much cawing and noise.  It was so unusual, I googled it.  It was apparent that a crow funeral was happening in my neighbourhood.  On my way to work the next morning, sure enough, there was a big dead crow at the end of my street.  I got a lot of respect for those birds that day!

Hugs and thanks. I ended up going up way north Ontario to my friend's island in the middle of no-where.  No phones or technology, just nature to recharge my batteries!  Now planning my trip to Toronto at the beginning of Sept for TOronto International Film Festival or TIFF as we call it here.  We are seeing 2 movies?  I picked The Drop as my first choice.  James Gandolfini's last movie....now my friend is under pressure to pick our second flick!  We are having an email blast going back and forth over the second choice!

So you say!   Biting the Bullet here and doing everything to get through this.  Sleeping a lot, praying a lot.  Thinking about spring and my new skin!  Crazy ideas....thought of how I could make pickle juice without cucumbers.....watch the snow keep falling on this white world.  Wishing for spring.....so I can see my fish again.  Doing everything I can to get through the next few weeks without going stark, raving Mad!

Shut up Fuzzie. 3 foot snow banks here.

IF, we could see grass, which we haven't since Dec 13 2013, maybe I would be more hopeful.
