I know Cliff, met him a few times on the street. Nice fellow, gentle giant (yeah he's big!). Poor guy had a hell of an adventure on Saturday. My Lady saw the "Missing Dog" posters and recognized Cliff, but didn't know the story until it was on the tv news.

I know sometimes balloons scare me, or sudden loud sound behind me. I think poor Cliff was like a horse...after he bolted, all he knew was something loud and scary was chasing him, and the faster he went, the faster the Thing chasing him went.

It's like the scene from Marley and Me, except for real. What they didn't say was the huge blue umbrella was also being dragged along with the table. Not sure where that went after Cliff turned the corner onto Market Street.
