A question crossed my mind that only a dog could answer, and it's this....
In the hot weather when the sidewalk, particularly asphalt ones are soaking up the sun does it burn your feet when you walk on them for long periods of time?
I only ask because if I go out in bare feet and walk up our asphalt drive when the sun is beating down I end up doing the highstep to the grass after a few steps.

there is usually enough shade here and there between the buildings to cool off my pads. What I really hate is when we stop at corners and lights...I have to sit. A bit of squirming around and she'll notice and tell me to stand.
