Have they given you a diagnosis yet, or is it possible you got that novovirus that seems to be sweeping certain parts of the country? Keep your chin up luv and let us know what's happening with you as and when you can.

Like Bonnie, I to hope you get to feeling better soon.

Oh I don't know, you did pretty good on the Kindle. C Diff I had to google and found this from the Mayo Clinic...

Clostridium difficile (klos-TRID-e-uhm dif-uh-SEEL), often called C. difficile or C. diff, is a bacterium that can cause symptoms ranging from diarrhea to life-threatening inflammation of the colon. Illness from C. difficile most commonly affects older adults in hospitals or in long term care facilities and typically occurs after use of antibiotic medications.

In recent years, C. difficile infections have become more frequent, more severe and more difficult to treat. Each year, tens of thousands of people in the United States get sick from C. difficile, including some otherwise healthy people who aren't hospitalized or taking antibiotics.

Mild illness caused by C. difficile may get better if you stop taking antibiotics. Severe symptoms require treatment with a different antibiotic.

I'm not a person with much medical knowledge, but I would imagine that the effects of chemo on the immune system might be part of the problem. Give Lil a hug from me, if it's allowed, and let her know we're thinking of her.

I'm very familiar with C-diff.  Mom had it some years ago and it was a very bad case- but she did overcome it.  I hope you don't have that Lil  Are you eating yogurt?

Because of the diarrhea, the C Diff test was included in the range of tests requested by the GI doctors...and because that was on the test range, they had to enact precautions even though most of the signs for it weren't present.  They wanted a stool sample, but V kind of ran out of ammo to fulfill their needs...she hasn't eaten since Weds night FCS.

Still, they rescinded the test this evening.

They say it's two partial obstructions and she MIGHT be able to eat tomorrow and go home Sunday.

Fuzz - the loose folds of the rubber gloves would keep hitting the adjacent keys and causing me to have to constantly back up and delete.
