A big shout has to go out to Tristan as it was he who presented this site to me to play about with. How about that huh.  The hope is that when NewtCity eventually closes it's doors, as Newt says it's going to in 2011, that this place will be somewhere where those who once posted at NewtCity will have somewhere to come if they want to keep in touch. Yes............. A big Thank You to Tristan. I had suggested this to Fuzz earlier, but neither he or I had the sense to set it up, hopefully we will figure out how to operate it...  ...It would be awful to loose touch with everyone. |

You called and I came! Great to talk to you both today. Shame that Newt is shutting down the forum but I understand why if no one is posting and he is paying for the board. I am one of those that hasn't been posting. Just a lotta ka ka happened in my life the last couple of years and I just kinda wanted to stay in the shadows for a while. Good idea though for this forum to be set up so folks can come and check in if they want to. Love you guys!  |

Hey Linda good to see you at last. You have the right idea about this place being a contact point for those who don't want to forget old friends or leave them behind. There are those that lurk and read at Newts who won't post at NewtCity for a variety of reasons, so hopefully, once this place goes public they'll feel OK about posting here.
Well that's the theory, only time will tell if it happens.
As to the ka ka going on at this time in your life.... This too will pass and you'll be back to your old self before you know it. Keep in touch and let us know how things are progressing for you. Deal?

Thanks for the welcome. Hubby doesn't do boards and doesn't understand why I do.....but that's OK.... Probably good that he doesn't - he'd be on tool or Super Duty boards and next thing you know, he'd be wanting to buy a new truck again. Free is good! And the ads are not bad---at least they don't make the board jump down like the one at Newts....that one is irritating. I don't see the Gay Forum listed on the banner tonight |

Oh yeah that's a pain in the butt. I've lost count of how many times I missed what I was clicking to open because it chose that moment to have a hiccup.
