Ok I set up my new website and forwarded the domain (godaddy domain) from wix.com to smugmug.com... so when I type in www.kjgregorsphotography.com into my browser bar, I get wix.com and other times I get my website...  I have contacted both Go Daddy and smugmug and everything I did was done right for forwarding, it works great for them and it works great on the boys computer...

I have cleared the cache, cookies everything on my browser.... So what else do I need to do to get rid of wix.com??? all suggestions appreciated...  am going to try a virus scan now...

Hi Jojo, try flushing your dns cache. Close the webpage. Click on Start then Run (in Vista you may have to search for Run) type in cmd and press Enter on the keyboard.
In the command prompt, type in ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter again. There is a single space between the g and the /.

See if that helps.  Cheesy

DNS (Domain Name System) is stored in a table on your computer and helps Windows resolve web addresses to the website's actual IP address. So when you type in www.kjgregorsphotography.com afterward, it should look for the most current version of that website rather than going back to the stored website.
