I keep getting prompts to update to Windows 10 on my browser, has anyone used it yet. If so, have you had any problems with it?

I can't do an upgrade because the embroidery software I use is not supported.....  I do keep getting the prompts though.

We upgraded our Windows 8 computer and have had no issues. 10 has and improved Start Menu over the Windows 8 smart phone appearance.

Thanks Pam, I'm an old stuck in the mud when it comes to technology, preferring what I know over what might be coming next. For now though the prompts have stopped, but when they come again I think I'll give it a whiz.

Thanks for the input Ms JoJo. I've spoken to a couple of other people about it and it's left me with the impression that I'll just be an old stuck in the mud for a little while longer. Undecided

Windows 7 is very stable and if you like it, you should keep it.

The upgrade from Windows 8 to 10 is an improvement but both are very different than 7  Grin

What did you have before 10, Lynne? I put all of my shortcuts on the desktop or pin them to the taskbar. Stuff is hard to find, but I think performance is better. It seems lighter on the computer than 8 was, peppier.

We finally downloaded 10 and it works just fine on my Dell, but Dez's HP was totally screwed by it. It was so bad on hers that we had to take it in to the Geek Squad to get them to sort it out.
